Came back to the car and someone has stolen all the jacking point covers on my car.

Wow at a Ford show, jesus christ, how anyone could just rip them off your car and put on their own is beyond me, especially at a ford show

Everyone i have ever met through the ford scene has been alright to be honest,
proves there are cnuts out there though, and yep they will no doubt use my jacking point covers on their car.

 

Trouble is, someone taking bits off a car at a Ford show wouldn't really attract attention, as who knows that it isn't their car? ... Cunts mate, utter cunts.

This is why I never leave my car unless it is on a stand, I just take my daily wreck if it is getting left unattended.

 

Im really surprised at that to be honest.

Ford Fair is probably one of the best/safest ford shows i ever go to, with the least amount of trouble!

Shame it has to happen.

MY MATE HAD HIS R1 NICKED AT DONINGTON LAST WEEK FOR MOTO GP ... THE HOTEL HAS EVEN GOT IT BEING NICKED ON THERE CCTV ... A WHITE VAN PULLS UP ... 3 BLOKES GET OUT .. CUT THE LOCK OFF AND LOAD IT IN THE BACK OF VAN.. THEY WENT TO POLICE AND ALL THEY DID WAS GIVE MY MATE A INCIDENT REPORT NO .... HE HAD TO CATCH THE PLANE BACK TO CHANNEL ISLANDS .....

anyone remember that imprezza that got stripped at donny a few years back ? unfortunately people don't expext scum like that to be at shows, although it would be nice for the host to supply some form of security

 

Thats one of the only places I would expect 'bits' to go missing off mine.

had it since i was 17 mate, its one of my dads old cars.
It dont get taken out too much as it has alot of sentimental value for me.

What year is the car as i think the covers changed with the upgrades.

bad news fella, the problem is theives know where to hang out, in the car park out side the main stands, all cars sat there only a handful of people around and it's the problem that will always exist.
maybe a passion ford stand could be organised so most people can get inside near loads of friends cars, much safer.

My dad had loads of rst's and a few cossies whilst i was growing up.
all 4 covers have been taken, looks like they where cut off from the strips that hold them on.

I also have this car still that im restoring, it was also my dads.

There does seem more and more Chavs at ford fair these days compared to a few years ago. Guess as society degenerates the ratio of scum to decent folk will change and odds are some scum will like fords.

tried calling it, and the person kept rejecting my calls, so t-mobile have black listed the handset so the robbing cnut wont even beable to use it on another network

 

I remember this as I was parked about ten cars away in my r33 gtr and had fitted a carbon bonnet 2 days before.

The imprezza was well stripped

intercooler and loads more bits

I have allways been careful after seeing that.

 

Im sure I caught some fella trying to pick my pocket. I was watching the 0-60 and some guy seemed a little close for my liking. I felt him brush past my wallet so I turned round and asked if he was gay touching my arse. He just laught the walk away very very quick. I didnt have enough time to let security know as he was gone befor I could find them.
Shame about your RST fella. What makes it worse is that its so special to you. Hope Lee can sort you out. Shows the Ford owners usually stick together

 

Thats the problem with these things. Its a wonderland of parts for scum. I over heard banter once at a cruise about shows like fordfair being the ideal place to go "shopping" for nice cars.
