Just spoke to charlie shaw there he was saying him & martin hadland were having a little scuffle charlie out braked martin into a corner handbraked it full side on waving at martin charlie was on road tyres.

He did say he got a big fright turning the corner seeing andy lying out his car

 

Glad no one was hurt. What a brilliant car was only watching vids of this on you tube the other day.

 

made me feel sick when i saw that poor car coming round the track on the back of the truck!

so sorry to hear this, was watching the cars on track when it happened, i saw the red flagged waved and though omg who could it be... glad your okay andy, and hope the car gets rebuilt

That is good news as it's such a mental piece of machinery

 

Havent spoke to him about it apart from texts but i imagine the longest thing will be getting another carbon door as the rest of the kit needed will be available at m sport.

from the pics that looks an easy repair for andy, having seen some of the cars he has repaired and to the standard he works (speed and quality) that will be repaired, he has the jig that made teh car, and the skill to repair it if he so wishes.

Glad your ok, at least now it has just proved that not only does AG motorsport build quality fast great handling cars, but that has just proved that safety is also in there as well - makes me feel even better that mine was done there !!

I was a passager rider in the Silverstone Lotus car when the track was red flagged and as we approached the corner, we saw the full damage of his car!

Then we was back to the pit stopw aiting for the road to be cleared and I saw the car being towed away - have some pics which I will upload later.

Glad to hear he's okay.

There was 2 focus's today that looked the same charlie had road tyres on & doing a bit of drifting

i saw this crash happen right infront of where i was standing back end stepped out slightly then car went on the grass and careered driver side on into the wall at a fair speedFUCK ME!!! that was one heavy shunt!!

for a while and what seemed like ages no one seemed to move then driver evently stumbled out!! thank god no one was seriously hurt....testamony to how strong the car was built
