Me and Helen were out in YUM on the same session, came round the bend and saw it there, didnt look too bad as we drove past, but having seen it on the trailer it was obviously one hell of a whack.
Didnt look like the strut tops had move much if it all, in fact the whole main body of the cage looked to still be in one piece, just the outer tubing that went out to the bumpers etc that was badly bent.
Im sure its repairable by a man of andy's talents if he so wishes, but that was one hell of a whack.
Certainly know who to go to if I ever need a VERY strong and still light car building for me though, how well it took that impact is a real testament to how well built it was, I hate to think how much worse my own car would come off from a similar impact!
Really puts into persepective how dangeous our hobby really is!
Glad to hear you are OK Andy mate, and Im sure you will take this in your stride as you always seem to with everything that happens!
