and nearly snapped my fecking wrist this morning trying jumps on the ramps at the local skatepark lol!
used to rollerblade back in the day when it was well popular but grew out of it due to job,bird,kid,fords etc but our town has come up with some funds and built a skatepark so i thought fuck it il get back into it so went and bought new skates and helmet!! but forgot wristguards and kneepads lol so they are now ordered before i end up with broken bits

 

I used to be in the roller hockey team for 2nd arm'd div, but not skated for over 15 years when I had a try, bloody dangerous things, but ace fun when you can master it, I spent most of the time last time on me arse.

Geez it was 1979-1982 that I skated for 2nd armoured division(HQ and sigs reg), AND I was at school at the time, did look a bit odd being in the army team!!

yeah its done its nae bad but im gonna start going through to the skatepark in dundee its mental

 

I got back into Skating a couple of years ago. Great fun and very adictive once you get the hang of it all over again
Just make sure you wear protection dude, i never skate with at least my Wrist Guards on and if i am at a park/ramp then i wear Knee and Elbow pads as well
I started back on the mini's and progressed to the Vert pipes and now just Mainly Concrete pools and Bowls. Theres so many new sk8 spots popping up all over the place but the best time to go is early before all the little grogs turn up which seems to be about lunch time.
