Russ,

your car is also empty isnt it? What a stupid rule anyway. Just because you have no interior doesnt mean you have a race car only suitable for the track. Mine is tax, tested, insured and obviosuly runs dot marked tyres.

Good luck to Ade

Well i wont pass this im sure, need to find a noise meter

Noise limit is a sensible 103dba at 3/4 throttle at 0.5 meteres from exhaust.

If they are only using a static test @ 103db then I reckon you might be suprised Dave. You tend to get most the problems on big turbo power cars on the drive by meters when the turbo is at full chat.

.

Thats good Dave, mine would be allowed in (without gas) if it was ready, but it wont be .

Anymore entries, not all high powered cars in the list a few around 300 horses, so a 400bhp Cosworth would be Ok.

Nearly all the cars last year were below 180mph only a trailered Nitroused Skyline & Steves Granada troubled the 190's

Stick a pole bang in the middle at the back, like a strut brace on its side and claim it as a cage.

I don't plan on doing too many runs, two or three max.

The RCM Gobstopper, ND Bogey, Jun Super Lemon etc... are all MOT'd, insured & could quite easily be tax'd for the event.

Sadly, after the fiasco/joke that was last years event....I wouldnt attend even if they paid me.

Good luck to anyone who does though....maybe they can get their timing gear to work this year, and they might even make the distance a proper mile !!!!
