In preparation for fitting an L8, i thought i'd have a look at the ECU wiring on my super 8.
Had a poke around and barring the extra injector/boost pot looms that will need to be reomved from the connector, i found 3 wires disconnected.
They are
Brown White
Blue Brown
Blue Green
I had a look at a wiring diagram and they seem to be
Pin 2 on the ecu - Brown White - Lambda sensor
Pin 6 on the ecu - Blue Brown - Knock Sensor
Pin 22 on the ecu - Blue Green - Knock sensor
I take it when i fit my L8 (going closed loop/wasted spark) i can just plug all these pins back in where they should be with no issues?
My car is '91 and never had a lambda fitted, so i assume this along with the knock sensor wiring was removed for ease of fitment of the second 4 injector wiring?
Would just like someone to confirm what i'm doing is correct

Couldn't be arsed
Nah, i've decided not to do the engine this winter, so i don't need DTA yet.
Just want something plug and play for now. An L8 with the wasted spark driver in it came up at a very good price, so i thought i'd fire that in for the mean time

Correct, they should just be reconnectd and all will be well but bear in mind the lambda may be dead if its been unpowered for any length of time.

Cheers Stu!
My car is a non cat model, so its never had a lambda fitted, but it has the wiring. Bought one of your Bosch ones from Will when i ordered the rest of the kit
Wonder how long standard diffs will last with launch control
