as above and peoples opinions on this car, also how do you tell if an escos is a small turbo model, obviously i know the turbo will look smaller, but someone may have bolted a bigger unit on it, as i was told that the ports on a small turbo model are actually smaller so the tuning potential will be limited ?, thanks.

 

heres some info

the small turbo ones are easily told, but looking at the cam cover. if its the same style as the one in your sierra then its a big turbo, and if its one with the spark plug/cam cover thing, then it will be a small turbo
without looking under the bonnet, i guess this one is a big turbo, as its 1994 and has big turbo mirrors

i think small turbos started in 1995, but not sure on that?

Small turbo will have a fuel flap instead of the cap on the big turbos.

 

i now think im wrong and maybe its a small turbo then

it has a fuel flap and also just noticed the later steering wheel in it which i dont think came in big turbos

Very early small turbo by the looks of it, quite rare iirc only the first 12 or so small turbos had the same mirrors and badges as the big turbos.

 

the ford badge on the boot is in the wrong place
