basically look at rs200's the first ones were b reg's,you could get them new in 92 because they were unwanted. nowt special about metal lying around unwanted imo
My G plate XR2 was registered in the September, I got told the first owner ordered and put his dipper on it in the Feb and was then sent to the big house but passed message to the dealership he still wanted the car and didnt want it registering until he got out.

in 1969 Ford came with the Colt! ( a young horse, as the small version of the american Mustang ) However this name was taken by Mitsubishi.
the name Capri was next in line.

and
In 1931, not long before Thomas Edison died, the inventor told his friends Henry Ford and Harvey Firestone: “I’d put my money on the sun and solar energy. What a source of power! I hope we don’t have to wait until oil and coal run out before we tackle that.”

fact.

john taylor was to ford motorsport what kenny dalgleish was to lfc, when malcolm wilson took over the ford wrc programme the first thing big malc did was tell jt....... see ya and jt had just did the rear suspension development on the escort wrc

The engines are a bit different, the jag has different heads, it also weighs a bit less. The Mk4 Escort never came with clear indicators or tinted rear lights.

Funny the ammount of people who think they are part of the 90 spec upgrades when they were just a popular aftermarket fitment......

i'm sure it was in a pf or ff mag somewhere

they showed one in bits (i remember because it had 4 stud brakes on it) and one built up (which had granada 5 stud alloys on it) so i knew there was something fishy going on

there is an m reg saph round my way too, owned by the pub landlord of that pub by the canal as you go towards western internation market from old southall, i think it's called the grand junction arms or soemthing

my bit of trivia is:

that mark evans fella from a car is born fame, said he cleaned and washed several bits from a sierra donor car he bought and then complained when they didn't fit
i told him when i met him a few years ago that that was because he was cheating and had bought some stuff from a granada, which has the bigger diff witht he disc brake output flanges fitted to it and the hubs had 5 stud brakes on

he said not to tell anyone and then signed a copy of the dvd

top fella thuough, totaly not up his own arse at all
