The 24v escort was RWD BTW, no photobucket account I'm afraid so you'll need to click to see the bigger picture.
They also placed a 4ltr version of the 24v engine into the Scorpio, and finally Ford also made one 3door sierra 4x4 cosworth, as Boreham wanted to use this for rallying instead of the sapphire.

the red mk2 RS1800 is the only one ever made, apparently the guy who ordered it would only have one if it was red, the dealer put the order in, got no confirmation, and it arrived a few months later.... the bloke that ordered it went out and bought a lotus elan, as he figured as he hadn't heard back it was a no go......
there is one mallard green rhd 4x4 saff cos, last rhd off the line.
the last ever saff 4x4 off the line was smokestone blue and is lhd which ford still have
the engine from the cancelled RS1700T was a variation of the BDA which was then altered again and put in the RS200
i thought the first escort cossie was on a H plate and was a rally car, which won the first few rally's it did??
there are plenty of old cars, rows upon rows of them at the old borham test facilty- which are not for sale...... shame really
the window switches in an aston martin vanquish are the same as across the whole ford range.
the jag x-tyoe is just a re-bodied mondeo- why didn't they put 4x4 in the mondeo ST??
the 4 d plate RS500's were the 4 proto-types
thats all i can think of for now, can you tell what i read?? ford memorabilia i fookin love it!!

The only yellow escort cosworth I've heard about was the proposed acropolis limited edition, it was normal escort cosworth rather than a 24v rwd version and was yellow all over, including the wheels with black tail lights, looked really nice in the pictures.

ford also made a rwd rs2000 mk5 using an escort cos bodyshell(no rear spoiler) saw it in pf mag in around 1994 it then appeared a year later at croft as a course car, I had a look underneath and it was deffo rwd...
