The KA was supossed to be turbocharged, but that idea got dropped late into the dev which is why they still have thus cutout under the bonnet.
Cosworth had four KA T dev cars that just went missing one day.
Its great having Cosworth nextdoor.
Should of seen the Spyker dev car. It was nuts.

The mk 1 lotus cortina has the car battery in the boot where as the normal mk 1 cortinas have it in the engine bay.

thnk i read somewhere that the new x type jag's were more or a less a st220 having the same floor pan, engine, switches etc

You could tell if a mk 1 fiesta xr2 was original and not a fake cause the xr2 had a lump in the rear panel below the bumper for the spare wheel.
