Mates just tried to put a deposit on a new Focus RS........
and Ford have said they wont take any deposits for another couple of months,TBH theye sounded like they didnt actually know anything about it realy other then its gonna be green.mates got money there burning a hole in his pocket now LOL!! Anyone else been into ford to see about on e or what?

But is it a deposit? up here they said Ford havent even went to all the dealerships and asked which ones want to be an RS distributor yet? he said I can take your £1,000 but it will just gain interest in our account when it will be just as useful in yours till we know more.

went to 2 sideways, 2nd one started saying they dont even know if theyre gonna take any because they`ll then need to buy in new equipment to service and maintain them !!!

at the moment they are gauging intreast to see how many to build ,we own a ford dealership and they want min 2000 of you before they are going to decide how many they are going to buld.
the price is still unknown at this point and i cant see that we will see this car before 2010

what cracks me up is the length people will go to to be the 1st to get their hands on a piece of metal, as like the 1st Focus RS, people were paying 25k to get one when they were launched, you can now get one for 8k
