Unfortunatly there is alot of turbo's on ebay with similar to Garrett specs.
Personally if youve got a decent engine i dont think its worth risking it, stick with genuine parts from genuine suppliers.

there is and i have run a t3/t4 on a stage 3 cos and was identical in performane to a garrett t34 .63. it ran 4k miles at 30 psi, then 3k miles at 22psi had a tiny bit of shaft play after the 7k but still worked perfect and didnt smoke. and they are available for £200 which was cheap i thought.

and i dont see how it could damage the engine if it did fail. exhaust wheel couldnt get into engine, and comp side it would just get stuck in the intercooler. different story with non intercooler engines like the caterpillars as if any bits break off they go straight in the engine.

nasty laggy shite....

please dont take this the wrong way... but from your posts you just seem to be chasing big bhp numbers.... and thats worse thing you can do in my opinion....

get an external gate GT30 and the head properly ported.... you won't want more in a road car and its a fantastically driveable and punchy spec.. TONS faster and MILES more fun in 99.9999% on situations!

I've been there and done it with the GT35 as have many people... I wouldn't do it again!

I actually LOVE the gt35, does that make me an outsider?
I can understand you dont want a gt35 on a trackcar, that is just way to big for that, but topend power and drag and topspeed, the gt35 is just out of the league
