Just fitted a msd closed loop chip
Took the car into work to check the co and this is what i have
Wtf is going on

Could this be a sensor problem i used a bosch lambda sensor(not from msd) so should i try another lambda
This is all new stuff to me

try unplugging the lambda ..does the c.o change?
you deffo have a sensor fault of some sort,
lambda, ect, map sensors would be the more likely
you got a secs monitor?

they can do jim, mine went to 8%odd when the lambda was unplugged, it depends how the global mod is adjusted iirc.
they always go rich when lambda sensor fails for safety

mine did jim,,,it ran at 0.90% LS plugged in, and 8%unplugged
on 55lb injectors.
i could weaken it off,by using the global mod, but i ran it uber safe at the top, so chose to run it rich, the closed loop dealt with it a treat low down
mind you i probably had big issues back then

i don't beleive for a minute that stu sets his base map to 8% and the closed loop is the only thing bringing it down to lambda 1.
there must be something fishy going on

Evening Matt, before i go back to MGS, have you actually tried triming it with the CO screw? Some of the ECU analogeis circuits seem to differ. try taking 1 - 2 turns anti clockwise off the trimmer.
failing that, i would be looking at ECT/ACT/LAMBDA.

Hi Stu
yeah tried adjusting the co screw didnt make a lot of difference (was at 9+ co)
can you do me a deal on all of the above sensors + map sensor as at least then i can rule them out
did you get the lambda just for this ? or for a wideband gauge ?
if you got it for wideband gauge have you defo got the simulated narrowband going to the ecu ?
as i belive the ecu closed loop runs off a narrow band signal
just a thought
