Default Cvh crank sensor setup, opinions please.

Have had these made up as the 1800 sierra's are getting harder and harder to get hold of,
Unlike the 1800 setup which is very close to the inner wing and requires the pulley modding, alternator bracket and pulley blah blah, this requires no mods, just pull the pulley back a bit, bolt the bracket onto the oil pump, push the pully back again and fit the disc!

Anyone see any flaws or improvements that could be made? ( the disc does have a boss on the rear that buts up to the pulley so it doesn't bend when tighteming the bolt!

Went to a platers today to get a price to zinc plate all the sets i had made but they'd gone bust so going to try and source another company!

Cheers for any input.

Will the angle of the sensor plug not foul the inner wing? When you've got a loom plug on that - it'll be pretty close and could rub/short out?

Hi mate,
Not found a car to dummy it on yet, if it does fail, i'll change the sensor bracket so the plug points inwards!!

It will definitely catch on a mk1/2 fiesta 100%. Why not do 2 versions of the smaller bracket that attaches to the large one - one for a Ford sensor and one for a Weber one?

May do, want to try and keep all the brackets universal across the cvh range if possible, but may use the weber sensor yet as it's nice and short!

I think a dowel would be a good idea, to secure the trigger wheel to the pulley to prevent slip.
