Matey I worked with always said nearest station, but I've not been able to find anything to back that up, and have looked hard.
Maybe a police discretion thing.

I dont think they can insist nearest, as you might not be happy with your nearest one, excessive charge, bad reputation, booked up for 6 months etc, so im sure its not that simple either, lol

You've a point, but why should your happiness come into it when you're being allowed to drive with no mot or tax?!

You can mot up to a month in advance, so there's no excuse really.
Says he who has run around with no mot 2 years running as this cars mot and tax don't run out together....

Why not book the car into a proper place for an mot, take a note of the mileage and advise the guy that the engine has been built and not run in yet and you want nobody road testing the car.

They have absolutly NO REASON to road test the car anyway....

if its 4wd it will need to be road tested, as brake rollers arent desighned for 4wd.......bring it to me at farnham surrey, ill let you put it on and off the ramp
