Default Public Apology for Karl Norris

...Unfortunately i got my wires crossed hence the lastest comments by me...i took an e-mail reply as though he was saying he was NOT gonna to do another map due to 8 inj configaration and the confusion from given info.

THAT pissed me off as i felt cheated...BUT he didnt mean that at all and is doin me a map that will be very safe and work...which will help my quest out as although i feel i am doin ok..i am still a little scared at upping the boost from 9 psi

So Karl WILL be supplying the base map for me to fiddle with knowing the basics are there.

On a side note the 2 sent maps were nothing i did wrong they were configured asthough S8 was the same as Pectel Super 8..which it ISNT.

People like Jim Galbally and Brommy that know abosolutely nothing about this kinda thing just add the 2 pence worth which infuriates me more and makes me say even more things against Karl...THINK before you reply...i could also learn that aswell

So Karl apologys and lets keep the Norris Motorsport and Bosch Man (Formally IMA Racing and Rock your World Pop sensations) partnership going

no disrespect, I completely understand why you want to do as much as you can yourself, but when it comes to something as specialized as mapping a car, fair enough have a go at mapping a cheap engine build, to learn the basics but WHY fuck about ruining a good engine trying to map it yourself? a little bit too rich or too lean will easily kill an engine, and from what I have read you have nowhere near the knowledge or equiptment to do the job 100% corrctly, when its somthing like this 95% correct IS NOT GOOD ENOUGH

RWD Cossie Wil, at the end of the day mate, none of the "pros" out there were born with the ability to map engines. So if Phil accepts the risk he may lose a few engines along the way learning, then its a skill I am fairly sure he can pickup and become good at.

"Pro Tuners" arnt godlike creatures with the ability to do everything from birth, they are normal people, like me and you, who slowly learned what they were doing....and refined this and are now so confident in their abilities they will map other peoples cars for money.

I agree totally Phil, just think its a bit of a case of learning to sprint before you can crawl just don't want to see anyone blow thier engine up for no reason-

ps, read the manual

F) SECOND BANK ENABLE TIME
Sets when bank 2 injectors are enabled. This value is compared with
the basic final fuel time and if exceeded, the second bank of injectors
are enabled.
Values between 0 and 15.000 millseconds.
Set to 0 to disable second bank control.

why not just get on with it then instead of slapping it all over a public forum? And I am very interested in your project, but like I said before, I PERSONALLY think you would be better off LEARNING how to map before TRYING to map
