I had one fitted 2week ago and today i got a £108 rebate, i can still have it took out inside 12 months if i want

im on a meter too, never had anything else so cant comment on wether its better or not. what i can say is that our bill doesnt seem too excessive considering the amount of water we use.

Dont start me!
I moved into my house in 2002 was newly built, paid £30 a month as that was the water rates at the time or something.
Rang up united utilities about my direct debit and was told i had overpaid £500 so they sent me out a nice lil cheque!
A month later, they realise they have cocked up and i now have to pay it all back.
They then realised the houses were new and installed water meters about 3 years ago, and my bills are roughly the same as what it was with the rates so its not all bad!
Except the fact that im home alot more and bathing twice a day ( both me and josh) so my next bill is expected to be £1000 for the year

You can get piep freeze in a tin if anyones thinking of doing it. New houses you will struggle to do it though as the meter is at the outside stop tap in the pavement
