Default Oil in Turbo Hoses

Hi i had a problem with my s2 today it was chucking out blue smoke for a while then stopped but not completely also when i got home noticed oil coming out of dump valve water is ok and no water on dipstick so thinking not head gasket mate says maybe turbo itself car is modified but nothing to wild had no problems before today also noticed oil round aux air device any help would be much appreciated.

Check turbo outlet to cooler if there is wet oil there then the turbo seals have gone. Dry tacky oil mist is normal with a turbo that has done mileage.

Thanks ill do that tomo car has only done 65000 from new.

ok took turbo hoses off tonight loads of oil in there also checked for play in turbo shaft and there is slight up down movement but no in and out,so are we looking at a turbo repair.

If its in compressor side to intercooler then yes its a turbo rebuild.
I would recommend CR Turbos no hassle and good service.
Make sure you follow installation instructions and fully clean you intercooler out and all boost pipes and intake manifold.

Just in case a blocked breather has caused things to get awry I would check your breather hoses. Are you running a stock breather system or a modified one? If the latter, what is it and how has it been plumbed in?
