the down pipe has set the bulk head on fire after long periods of full throttle and the fuel has also been heated up after long periods of flat out running so just trying to help this

what stops it going brittle and corroding/falling off? I've seen a few where its been on a few months and is hanging on for dear life
http://www.rapidford.co.uk/index.php?p0=detail&id=409

If you spray this on, it turns it into something like a plaster cast and stops it from going brittle.

Theres a few different makes available, i found the thermo-tec held up the best. Wrapped from front to back on mine and was in perfect condition after a year or so

doubt that very much.

when turbo and exhaust are up to temp the lag will be the same regardless of wrap or not.

i wouldnt wrap the whole exhaust.

just the important parts, i.e next to sump/gear/and maybe tank.

Rod did this on his saph and apparantly the exhaust expanded/lengthed by like 2-3 inches due to heat.

Bloody hell Ryan thats mental

I wrapped this one till it had cleared the sump, itchy irritating stuff but should do the job nicely.

I was considering wrapping it half way under the car too but I doubt it would make any difference and would easily cost another Ł60
