Hi guys I'll attach some picture of what I've found on my escort rs turbo as the ECU vacuum lines aren't connected and have been bridged out is there a reason anyone can think why this has been done and should I re connect them

The ECU needs the vacuum line.

Yes I have since plumbed it back in and the car runs soo much better now, and doesn't pink on boost which is fantastic but I can't for the life of me understand why it has been disconnected in the first place
