Default Boost Problem, very confused

Today I've fitted;
MSD Chip
3 bar map sensor
803's
-31 Actuator
Crank Position Sensor
Temperature sensor

Before I changed all this the car used to cut out at 6psi this has now gone and the car really shifts but it still only makes 6 psi (using the half hole method) I've shortend the rod as far as it will go but it will still only make 9psi. I was expecting around 20-24, I've still got a T3 and standard cooler so I was going to turn the boost down to about 12 until I can new items, but I can't even get it that high. Any one had this before or got any ideas.

I've changed that a couple of weeks back may have got a dud as I got it second hand, any idea of the correct way to plumb the pipes in. Also what have people done with the one that used to connect to the air filter as mines currently haning in the spring for the indicator as I'm not sure what else to do with it.

what i mean is did you have to pull the actuator on to the wastegate

was the wastegate penny closed when you put the actuator on?

could be amal valave aswell

but sure even if you have adjusted the actuator to its max its going to be boosting more than 9psi

the amal valave is marked aswell

c - compressor hosuing
w- actautor

carnt remember the last one but this goes to air filter box,
mine went to atmosphere when i fitted an induction kit

also to elimante the amal valve disconnect it and run a pipe from actiator to turbo

this will be using the boost setting on actuator

YB makes sub 200bhp at 6psi. Are you sure the gauge pipe doesnt just leak at 6psi so it goes no higher, or gauge maybe bust?

Amal = Check it clicks when you plug it in with the engien idling and connector seems sound, IE, it doesnt click on and off when you wiggle the wire.

Ports are all marked as explained above.

how much do the right amal valve jets effect this..??? also to eliminate the valve and faulty wireing.....if u have a spare amal valve try this (or be careful with ur new one)...take a knife and gentely prise open the top of the valve where the electrical connectors are "cream colour top, from brown base"....inside take out the spring and weight...put back together and use as normal.....worked for me....

Going to reset the actuator rod tomorrow using the half hole method, and I will check the pipe going to the gauge. Cheers guys

Checked all pipes and no leaks, wound the rod back out to half hole guage once again shows 6psi, Amal Valve clicks on and off when plug is removed and doesn't get affected when wobbled. Going to get it to a tuners as soon as I can. I' now suspecting the guage may be at fault.

What do you mean by "it really shifts"?

At 6psi I would expect it to feel really tame, are you sure your gauge is reading right?

Definatly suspecting the gauge is at fault, as the car feels quick.
