Watch your car keys folks
..when there in your house at night.
Mate of mine woke up to find his Carrera 4 and his new Range Rover both missing the other morning, he is gutted. Wont be buying anymore high end cars from now on.
Got broken into in the middle of the night and thats all they took so stolen to order or export.
All his other keys were in the Range rover - 2 shops and several flats.
This was in East Kilbride (glasgow) and theres been a few cases in Eaglesham too.
Nothing is safe anymore

there used to be a fair amout of cases where people used fishing rods to get keys from desks etc, they used to feed the rods through the letterbox or small open windows etc...
i sleep with my cossie keys

happened to friends of our TWICE
Nipped into the back of the house during the evening (back door was open as you do when its summer) & took brand new 4X4 & cooper S
There are two lines of thought here
1 leave the keys on display so that they just take them & dont harm you or your family
2 take the keys to bed so that you can stand your ground & challenge them
My mrs leaves hers downstairs But i always take mine with me to bed Plus they have to get past 2 german shepherd dogs first

Leave your keys downstairs but wire them into mains ( disconnect your car alarm plipper as the AC voltage knackers them up somehow ).
Remember to switch your keys off in the morning though - bonus is they are nicely heated if you have frozen locks
