After various problems I have had with my gearbox and twin plate clutch. Today Paul hill @ engine advantages finally finished the map On my 2.0zvh fiesta. only problem we had one of the rocker arm studs decided to escape from the cylinder head taking the threads, so Paul had to helicoil the head. The engine ended up making 428bhp and 404fbt @ 28psi and @ 20psi 340bhp I don’t the torque these gt series turbos really move some air. to say I am pleased is an under statement, the car an absolute animal to drive going to take a bit of getting use to.fook knows how Paul johnsons and sunny cars go like.

most of the map was done on the rollers then checked and tweaked on the road.

 

same turbo as me so my target of 400 looks on

 

with the 64 housing excellent turbo

 

spot on then i bet that spins up in 4 with all the tork must be unreal to drive mines an hand full with 310 pounds of tork

 

bloody Frightening but like everything i'll get use to it..

 

ran i remember when i longed for 250bhp then 300 i get use to the power too quick well there is always a 4.5bar map sensor and more boost but i think i will stop here.

i've got both .64 & .86 housings . currently running the .86
got stuck with mapping @ 1.2bar due to high compression.
soon to be dropped. the mapper says 400 easily @ 1.5-6 bar.
if you need the bigger housing for more power at the top end then
apt turbo supply them for Ł100 delivered

 

for my application 0.86 housing maybe too big?

 

it depends where and what ya wanna make.

 

cant think of any which have hit 400hp what about the 2.2zvh from field motorsport

 

look at my power graph the boost is much lower but pumpin out the power.
it looks as if my turbo is starting to get a real push on at 3750 very similar to yours

i brought my turbo through vince osbourne when he use to work @ universal turbos, i did'nt buy from america due to all the stories of turbo failure i heard about. but saying that all have have heard is good things about www.atpturbo.com

In any case, I bet its fucking frightening to drive. I can't imagine it, I know what mine is like.

 

i'd imagine its quite a hand full and not very quick due to loads of wheelspin,
any plans for decent traction control that would really help in the accelleration stakes.
