my UT T38 looks the same as a T34 on the outside.

Inside are different though. i.e comp wheel & housing. exhaust wheel & housing.

HTH.

Was thinking of selling it if you interested.

Its brand new. still in the wrapper from UT

I ran a T38 turbo on my old car.

It was the boy and it came from turbo technics.

It had a .63 rear housing and the compressor housing wasnt tht far off the size of a T4.

Packed loadsa punch and was useable under 3000 too.

I think the HG one is better WGAF

At the end of the day, as long as the turbo you use matches the rest of the spec' of the engine does it matter? It all depends on application as to wether one is better than the other....

Billys one (UT version ) is a cracking unit i ran one with greys...same to look at as the T34 .63 but has a T4 exhaust wheel etc etc ...of course my T4 is better now

Around 480bhp from the TT version but higher spool up

Around 450bhp from the UT version but lower spool up (perfect turbo for greys IMO)

Without a compressor map its a bit pointless making wild guesses at power really IMHO unless you have actually built a few engines with them on.
