Some of the Honda boys use Land rover gearbox oil, sopposed to be good and cheap, the honda box takes a good old hammering to reving to 9000rpm

infront of the gearbox oil will be a small black and silver flipcars thing.

flip this over to the page your car is on, and look at the part number next to the car model.

then select the gearbox oil with the same part number on it

From what ive been told Jim, Bernie actually reccomends it.

Ok i am now the proud owner of a 500mlbottle of Castrol automatic
TQ dexron III

Now, i dont actually want to do a full oil change if i dont have to, what happened was that i jacked the car up drivers side and pulled out the speedo cable, i lost about 1/4 - 1/2 litre of oil and i just want to top it up, i have no idea what oil is in there at the moment.

can i just use this ATF as a top up oil.

Cheers,

Mark

not really as you do not know what oil is in and some oils do not mix they just sit on top of each other like oil&water...in my opinion your best of dropping the oil and put fresh in
