Default Auto gearbox question BMW

i have noticed when i reverse of my drive in the mornings i get quite a strong vibration from the gearbox. it only really happens from cold as when i reverse park at work i havent noticed it?

the car is a 2003 5 series auto and im concerened is this likely to become a bigger issue as i know replacement recon gearboxes are almost as much as the value of the car

The whole 'life' oil thing is ridiculous really, you may well find evidence that BMW have back tracked on that anyway. But then I guess 'life' to them means life of the warranty maybe.

Definitely get it changed.

Get the oil changed, could be full of shite now.
Mine is on the to do list, might be suspension related though as it's not happening in forwards.
Just a thought as box oil should be the same noises forwards or reverse i would have thought.
