Default engine stripped DAMAGE FOUND

Despite the devastation to the Block the crank is fine with no damage.
One end bearing had started to spin the others were Ok. The block was held together by the crank bearing bolts.
Now have to decide on new or used 200 block, any ideas & the engine will be re-built with a couple of small mods that Mark wants to try as a development idea. Slightly different new pistons will be fitted.

Fook that looks bad! For my untrained eye i would have thought it would have taken everything.

Rod you want to ebay your block saying its out of the worlds fastest Cosworth and you might get some £ back for it

As said in other thread. Millington blocks are only rated to 400bhp and they have a habit of cracking under na power so putting 900bhp + through one isnt going to be advisable.

Looks like it could have been a lot worse than a new block Rod and Im glad your continuing the development I wish you the best of luck for the future.

Maby next time a good idea to convert it dry sump.
A good starting point will be us zetec or svt engine block.
But if it has to be a ford cosworh engine you don't have to much choice maby a zetec cosworth wrc block will be ok if you can find one.
Or true frankenstein engine will be cool like a mitsubishi 4g63 or nissan sr20det or a toyota 3s-gte but that will piss of some people.

Glad to hear you're not giving up.

Stick the fooked block on ebay stating it was first ever cosworth to do 200 etc might bring in some money for you.

Mark said someone wanted my 1000cc injectors, now ive found out who, the deals off .
Going to use 1200cc as Mark saw 100% duty cycle on that run trying to supply 900 horses with hay.
Anyone want an AUTRONICS SM2 ECU as Marks kicked that off the team as well. .

SM4 Mark wants more control of the Nitrous. can set a 199 'shot' instead of a '200' that caused all this aggro.
