Im shocked tabetha you are wrong at last

Gearbox mount is different on the 4i shell

Never tried fitting the ABS to mine so not sure of what brake pipes you would need to alter if at all

Maybe ?, it depends on year, my xr4i(86) even had the mounts there from new for the sapphy rear roll bar, but had the std long type roll bar, I looked into this mod also, and a cossie, or rather what I was told was a cossie gearbox support fitted straight on, but didn't bother in the end.
Still got to be easy to mod though ?

is it difficult to mod to fit the T5? any other tings to lok out for? As for ABS altering the pipe isn't a big problem rite? as long as the mounting for the abs is the same position.

can the Danny Adrenline stage 2 beam fit right in?

Beam will defo interchange between them, just note the different roll bars used on rear, same shape but thicker 14mm on cossie, not sure on your size, but 4i here was 10mm, even the 14mm one was not good enough to be called useless even!!
I managed to get a LT77(rover) box in the tunnel ,and they are quite bulky boxes certainly much bigger than T5, I modded the mount using the one I had and the rover gearbox mount together took about an hour, so no biggee.
