ive looked in the manual and it says there there on the 1.4 and 1.6 on the exhaust manifold.im gonna have a look later.i assumed that they all had one that was all

You will see zero gains, unless it is faulty to start with, as it is only used under certain conditions to admit exhaust gasses back into the engine to keep the temperature down to lower NOX emissions.

If you remove EGR:
It can make cylinder pressure a LOT higher, therefore could cause you big problems. Not sure if it would effect MOT emissions as well.
Can make temps go either way, depending on the engine condition.
Not worth the risk for what is probably a small gain IMO!

It doesn't affect pressure, other than the tiny lowering of pressure, it is not "on" at idle, it can ONLY cause a cooling effect, as it part fills the chamber with incombustible gasses, this being it's purpose.
The critical point is 1300 go over that and NOX goes through the roof, under they don't produce any amount.

Do you mean cylinder pressure? And it does NOT only have a cooling effect.
I will admit the changes are more extreme on just a normal turbo application rather than an NA.
But you are wrong.
