Default Is this rust on my FRS rear arch lip?? (pic)

Been there for a while on both arches of my FRS. The last owner was such a blouse that I doubt he'd not have taken it back to Ford and had it looked at it if it were.

It's like hard lumps on paint, not squishy like rust it just seems odd on a car 4 years old. Anyone elses' rear arches like this on an FRS??

Best pic I can do, I know some FRS' had their rear arches painted when they came to the UK, could it just be paint?

had a 97 escort once with the same thing. My buddy who sprays cars flatted them back and re sprayed them for me. According to him it happens a lot on cars painted in warm conditions and the paint runs more? Probably no help but they look like pait drips to me

Either of them two i'd agree with. Though if the were spot welds I wouldnt think they would stand so proud. More just like a slight indent.

Just spoke to my buddy who advises cutting one of the lumps off to paint level with a razor blade or something to see if its all paint!!!! bit extreme IMO but just passing on the suggestion

It's paint mate, I looked at a few before buying mine, and two of them were like that to some extent.
