HI,

If the wiring is ok, its either the dizzy, or ecu, as if everything is
working as it should the ecu senses vacuum from the inlet manifold
which is translated by the ecu (internal transducer)

takes engine speed from the dizzy (trigger pulse's)
and from temperature signals gives the correct spark including dwell
angle, the ecu also controls boost and retards the ignition timing
if air temp etc to high, so is really wiring, coil, dizzy, ecu.
if it turns out you need a ecu is it s1 or s2 as i have std ecu's
and what year, i also have a as new the internals for the dizzy,
easy fit just a couple of srew's, mine is available as i have cosworth
management,

JAY,

What year is the car and on the ecu what colour or symbols are
on it the silver ecu, most will fit but need to check if knock sensor
on yours so say what year and if possible colours ie blue red white = s2
blue red & black = s2 with knock sensor etc,
if it is the dizzy like i said is easy fit and i have one new, when i
have your info on ecu i can say if i have one as i have several
ignition and fuel ecu's, is yours chipped as mine are all std,
so you could still use it with boost reset and co% and fuel pressure reset,
or just have your chip put into the std ecu, i will send a PM to you for
any prices for ecu and dizzy trigger assembly.

I couldnt get a spark in mine for best part of 2 and a half weeks. Ended up putting a live to the same pin on the ECU that the black wire from the coil goes to, i think its pin 13.
