Overheating
Hi,
the RS Turbo S2 from my friend Is overheating dramatically. Normal driving through the village is already a problem.
Attempts to solve the problem:
-) original Ford water pump
-) radiator from airtec
-) coolant circuit vented forever
-) Spal fans
-) switches to start the fans very soon
-) driving without thermostat
-) head gasket check and fine
-) head was sent to a company, 100% okay
Car runs hot original and with chip. Performance of the engine is great. Lambda values perfect.
We honestly don´t know how to go ahead.
Are some engines known to have troubles with coolant circulation? Installation of an electrical water pump?
Opening up of the head gasket holes to the cylinder head?

I know that the gauge can´t be taken as realistic measurement.
I have checked the forum here very detailed. There are a lot of threads regarding this topic, but I haven´t seen one where the problem got solved. On the other hand there are highly tuned cars on the road without
any troubles.

PassionFord Post Whore!!
Is the return hose to the bottle blocked?
Seen it before where the return on top of the bottle has a brass pipe in the plastic which gets blocked and causes loss of circulation

Engine is hot. Water in the tank is boiling as hell. You feel unsafe standing next to the engine bay.
