ahh,
trying to get dead on back to 132 would require putting it all back to standard or a how about adjusting the actuator to give less boost?
im sure someone will have a idea

Hold the waste gate open, restrict the intake etc. My car with a stage 2 turbo, exhaust etc made 115bhp with 5psi before rebuild. I assume less than 132bhp is OK?

hi unless your mot stations have rolling roads with dyno cant see how they test your horse power !! more likely its emissions and noise pollution as your mot is very much like ours !! down load decabel app for smartphone or tablet ( they usally free) find out what level @ what revs u need to pass then if u have to change your exhuast for test change it swap it back later ( over here kit cars cant be over 100db @ 3000 rpm as seen on wheeler dealers ac cobra episode) after whatching that episode took db meter app outside started up my s2 84db @ idle didnt bother finding out what it @ 3000rpm as for emissons stick super unleaded in and cross your fingers or get it tuned up!!

I would imagine he's in Luxembourg....

And other country's have incredibly strict MOT like tests. I don't think you are technically aloud to modify cars in some EU country's, so perhaps a dyno test on a suspect modified car is needed for it to be road legal.

what do you mine hold the waste gate open and restrict the intake ...? there is the nut on the waste gate ? need i to turn the nut wich side i have to be nearly to the 132bhp 122 bhp will be ok ....

does it not hurt the engine to run it with the wastegate open?

will a realy loose some bhp if i run the car with the wastgate still open ?

or i will runn it like rob did it after the engine rebuild like 5 psi to have 115bp or maybe 6 psi to be mor near the 132 bhp

Wastegate open and pressure down can be done both with the same component. I think pressure down is much better then op WG all time. Take ur WG off. Mark good where it is now (length) and then make it longer. Till you almost can fit it without pulling (just a lil bit). Then your pressure will be around peak of 0.5 backing to 0.4 or sg. You have some upgrades that you don't require the 0.7 peak to 0.5 of the std

Sorry I didn't reply. Red Bull is correct. You could also adjust your throttle cable so you only get 1/2 throttle

WELL GUYS i did the DYNO test today at the result is 153.8 bhp at 5599rpm 221NM
at 30 degrre outside temperature (very hot)

i really put the acutator on my t3 stage 2 longer that i can fix it witout poulling on the wastegate

i only have 0.3 bar pressure

but i have the piper cam airtec intercooler mongoose exhaust ....hmmm i will try the MOT again like this

Loosen the throttle cable so you can only get 3/4 full throttle

What was the boost at 153.4bhp? I think you will be fine at 0.3bar too.

Bit of a odd thread, its the opposite of what most people ask
