boost controller??

Default boost controller??

is it possible to have a variable dual stage boost controller so one preset can run 7psi and one can run 15psi safely for example or am i better just leaving it setup at 15 lets say

you can do this with an AMAL valve, and various sized jets. Does your car currently have an AMAL valve?

A simple On-Off switch will do the trick. Connect the switch in either electrical connection to the amal valve.

im going to assume i dont have an amal valve seeing as im pretty sure im running a -31 actuator, 15psi boost and chipped ecu

littlr ound thing cream and brown in colour, with the actuator pipes and compressor pipe going through it

So thats 2 bleed valves then...
Ive got the a turbosmart electronic controller, eboost street 1, its utter toss and will soon be replaced by an apexi avc-r or greddy profec b spec 2

I prefer the manual type with a solenoid switching between settings. Less fuss than with pulse width modulated boost controllers. (Nothing wrong with the 2 stage manual boost controller I linked) Keep things simple - less problems.

that is the sort of thing im looking for! il see what the bank manager says when the conversion is done then... anyone recommend turbo timers or do i just stay with the car for a bit of time to let it cool?

If you are sensible then a turbo timer is not required.

Unfortunatly it still fitted to my car, it does the job I suppose but I have never been able to smooth out the transition between target pressure and held duty cycle. Resulting in a surge like effect,
Its cheap for a reason, very lacking in loop tuning options, it isn't even a true close loop system as once the target boost is reached, the output just drops to a user defined duty cycle.
