Default series 1 wont fire!, after alternator fitted! help

hey all,

fitted alternator yesterday and the car started first time, took it for a spin all was well and put it to bed, got in from work today went to take the car for a blast and it wont fire!!!

will this be down the a faulty alternator????

What happens when you turn the ignition ? dose it just click ? or dose it acctually turn over.

it turns over mate just wont fire up!

Wouldent of said it was the alt then ..... have you checked the plugs ?

they have only been on there bout 3 months! surely they should last longer than that!!!???

check your fuses and relays, what amp/voltage alternator have you fitted? could it be to high and have blown a fuse? also check fuel pump is working and fuse for heated seats if its like a s2.

Right went out to see if it wud start, and yes it started first time!! Came home, been bout an hour or so, just been out to start it to put it away and it won't bloody start, there's nuffin, pump primes but won't even turn over, any1 have a clue what could be up with it?????
