If on std con-rods keep power below 240bhp and no more than 6500rpm on a regular basis. Chose your turbo based on driving style requirements and maximum power output expected.

really depends on what state of tune your engine is at, how you drive it and what you want to acheive from it

it depends on what is called the stage 2... different builders have their own stages.

For 1.6 CVH best option is T3 with 0.48 exhaust housing and slightly bigger compressore wheel. Such turbos were fitted to SAAB 9000 2.0T 16v and some Volvo 740/760

hi guys ,,ive just noticed that on my radiator on the left hand side theres a nipple for a hose that is meant to run water to..or from the turbocharger, my turbocharger come from another escort rs turbo but there doesnt seem to be a adapter on the turbocharger itself to connect water to ?? if it isnt going to be a water cooled turbo what about this connection on the radiator my heads mashed up?

If you have no water feeds through the core then you've probably got a Series 1 turbo. Just use a small length of hose with a bolt or similar clamped into the end on the radiator stub to block it off. You'll need to do the same to the top hose. Alternatively, you could link the 2, but thats not necessary.

Personally, I'd use a water-cooled turbo, but if yours really has no feeds, theres your answer.

i have a stage 3 fordge bottem end, with steal rods, with a T34 Hybird Roller bearing, Up for rebuild as its got a wii bit of play and puffs now and again.

i know its not the bottem end as thats all good. compression fine.

for that it cost me 695 from Midlands turbos, rebuild will cost me around 250-300 from what i know

because the time, date, and year has changed since, u know.

had a new Turbo, and had a new bottem end, due to me rattleing it,

Had new crank, New pistons, New Conrods, and pins. New rings, Oil Pump and so forth. Forge Pistions, Steal Rods, Better Crank, Motorsport Oil Pump, And lots more extras, Like im no longer on vooddos, and have some extras Its called, Spending money on your motor, u know how it is. all costs, and when you want more power, u spend more. Had a new turbo and as ive used it on the track, its got a little play, so before it goes, and recks the hole turbo, its going in for rebuild with Midlands turbos.

Just atm reabuilding my top end. Needs a new cam, and wanting to uprated it. Spair head i have.

i still reserve the right to completely disregard any spec u quote, as it wasnt that long ago u were trying to convince several forums that u had a 'stage 3 exhaust manifold', which was infact a standard cast ford item

i cud rattle off several more, plus the fact u told every1 u were nvq level 1.2million or something in mechanics, and yet had to ask how to change a wheel bearing

u shud stick to the muppet room son lol

hahahaha man, for some1 who claims to be impossible to wind up, you dont half get a vagina full of sand quickly!

i think its safe to say everybody knows u chat absolute bullshite, always have, and always will on every single forum u use. just a simple search threw up this little beauty where u seemed to pick your spec from thin air and add the words 'uprated' or 'stage 3' and hoped for the best

https://passionford.com/forum/ford-e...5-250-bhp.html

plus...

''i had my old T3 turbo rebuilt by a company called Midlands turbo, which i asked for roller bearings, T34 shaft. so its just a T3 with uprated bearings, and a new shaft''

so its not a t34 hybrid then son....

and feel free to post all these qualifications, maybe even post up that dyno graph of 246bhp which is nearly a year in waiting haha

and yes, in short, i do hold a big grudge, because u tried to impress every1 once at my expense, tried to look the big man by announcing to the world that i had built a ringer 1.3 pop rs turbo. bit harsh, bit offensive, and also a bit pointless as every1 u were preaching to knew it was all above board u daft twat

so go kick rocks son, your spec can change till the cows come home, but u still wont ever show any1 a dyno graph

the boyfriend fully agrees, running mfi on cvh 1.6, without a 5th injector is 225 bhp busted car!
no matter what stage the turbo is!

the turbo ive bolted on didnt have a cooling jacket by looks of it , no pipes for water cooling altho it spins over lovely and the shaft was nice and tight with the tiniest bit of play and i mean tiny, ive blocked my water pipe from radiator and one from by thermostat , if i let it cool down properly after every drive and so on do you think it might last a little ?
