Default boost problems! help?!

i seem to be having a problem with my s2 boosting?!
the car is fine once in the norm on the temp gauge but when it reaches around half way thats when the problems start!
i feel the boost start to come in as normal but then i get alot of noise from the air filter and exhaust and i seem to have no power, if i ease off the pedal the go back on i seem to get the boost back but this doesnt always work?!
i hav recently been running a bailey dump valve and a pipercross filter, i have removed the dump valve but there seems to be no improvment.
i am yet to change the filter but could this causing the problem?!?!?!

please help

same problem as I have. Today I found (before 1 hour) that my cables of spark plugs have flashes, I mean cables need to be replace, maybe will be better.

do you have connected hose from fuel pressure regulator to crossover pipe (before throttle after intercooler) ?

p.s. dont change air filter- I try it but nothing. I think we have injector problems

This is a REALLY common thing with MFI mate.

Me personally i would recommend checking your TPS is working correctly, the one on my first RS was knackered and i experienced this hesitation, and seemed to cure when i replaced the switch.

The TPS is the sole component that triggers full load enrichment, if it fails the car runs lean!!

A set up probably wouldn't go a miss either!

I was actually replying to the person who started the thread i wouldn't know where to begin with your car, it seems like its got a few problems.

For info though it only clicks at the idle end, full throttle it won't click.

Its not something that should ever need adjusting and by playing with that you are throwing out the TPS adjustment..........
