The oil pump on my 1.8 zvh is on its last legs do ford stock these and how much also were are they located and are they easy to fit should i leave the car and not drive it till its fixed cheers rob.

last 1 i bought from ford was 250 notes can change with engine in sump/exhaust of and botom pulley and its off bit of a fidle with engine still in

gona change oil pump tomorrow night is it a job ill be able to do in a night and is ther enything i should look out for also the oil light started to flash a little on start up just hope i havent done eny damage

yeh can do it in a nite not the bad really just a bit fiddley,exhaust off,sump off,timing belt and bottom pulley off,a few bolt holding pump on then its off,just a twat to get the sump to seal with the engine in good luck

got a new gasket for the sump can you see the pump when you take the sump off then is it just a case of putting new pump in and away i go cheers for the help

all the oil pumps for the zvh are on back order from fords have been for some time i got a few on order for my m8s the only way to go is for the 2lt one but u will have to use the r5 oil fillter

what pump do they use? Isn't it just a zetec 1.8 or 2.0l pump?
