Default G's weight progress

Just a little basic detail to give you an idea.

Born a chunk, my side of the family are all chunks.
Quit smoking in 2007 and put abit of weight on.
Stopped drinking for 10 month in 08 to help me lose weight, I kinda forget to help myself by exercising and ate more

March 2009
Doctor twatted me for being a fat cunt, was closing in on 19 stone.

I tackled my eating and cut down on portions and ate 'better' food, weekends I have a free for all and let myself go, but now I am concious of what I eat rather than just troughing anything in.
I also got into my mountain biking, before I was just playing at it, I am now setting myself targets in distance and speeds, plus ive recruited a few buddies so theres a little competative edge even when were just having a 'quick hour'.

I sometimes go to the gym but find it very boring, all I am doing at the moment is cardio to lose weight and inches, once I am don to a size I am happy with then I will look at toning.

Went to the docs today for a weight in, 17 st 1

My target now is 15,9 coz then my mate will teach me how to parachute jump.

I have jeans, underpants, t shirts etc that are a size that could cover a small county that I know I dont want to ever fill again.

Nice one, G. I wish you all the best with your goals mate and the way you're going on they shouldn't be a problem.

Default HI

I’ve been working out for many years now, and i want to know how I can tone my body better without losing a large portion of weight, mostly my chest and midsection? I’m 6ft 198lbs I would like to be around 195 but in much better “shape”. My diet sucks and i’m trying to work on it, but I work out at the gym 2-3 times a week lifting weights and running. I dont run a whole bunch though, would that help my problem or will that just make me lose wieght?

Bit of an update,
Seeing a massive difference in clothes as some of the older stuff looks like its starting to hang, next size down sir
Getting back into the bikibg after the shite winter where it didnt really get touched for 2 month, and I started tackling the weights, and that created a problem,
I went from 108kg to 112kg by losing fat and building muscle.
Got myself a PT to give me something different to go alongside what i was doing to get me fit for whats in my siggi \/ , And he has banned me from doing weights for the time being to create on my core strength and cardio work.

All in all things are coming along, starting to step it up a gear now I have a big target ahead.

April update.
Dropped to 109kg, and into a 36 inch waist jean
Into the swimming, 25-30 lengths on a Sunday morning before I go out on the MTB and put at least 15 miles in, This also means Saturday nights beer sessions are a big no no.
Gonna be upping the milage in the next couple of weeks and want to have done a 100 mile week by the end of May.
Work with the PT is coming on, started doing abit of running, not a great deal but prob touching 2 mile, thats with a little circuit I do midway to break it up that includes shuttles up some steps and a steep hill with push ups at the top.

The target is here,
250 miles in 5 days through Jordan, I have to be fit to do this or I will suffer badly

Still around 17st 1?? But obviously with much better fitness and the increased muscle that goes with it. Fair Play and good luck on the ride! My nomansland gets sore on the mile ride to the gym sometimes.

Upto 4 mile on the running, Not swam for a couple of weeks due to having things on on Saturday nights, cycling more often and more miles and the gut is slowly moving but it is getting annoying that the scales wont go down, and its not as if i am doing the weights either.

I think the plan for July will be to have a big look at my diet, I reckon its 75% good, but still worth a look as due to the hours I work I am sometimes exercising, having my tea, shower then bed.

Big G no more! I wouldn't mind getting into running and biking again might give you a bell if you're out and about on the bike!
