bread...
how bad for you is it? i eat between 4 and 8 slices a day, sometimes ill have 4 or 6 then a packet of 4 or 6 rolls with some soup at work.
the reason i ask is im sorting out my diet again after a few months of eating loads of shit and piling on the weight, and heard someone say they cut out bread and weight dropped off them?!
is it really that bad? i just looked at it as carbs, the same as potatos or pasta?!

fuck thin cut! i hate thin cut. and it wont fill me up so ill just eat twice as much
tbh aslong as theres no reason other than its high in carbs ill keep eating it, i wasnt sure if there might be something to do with the guten or some ingredient in it that made it bad for losing weight or something.

since when does it make you gain weight?! youve just said its high in carbs?! carbs are needed as part of a good diet, im not going to entirely give them up. what would be the difference if i substituted bread for pasta or rice?!
if its JUST carbs in bread im not bothered about giving it up. the way ive dieted before was to count calories, no carbs late in the day and as little fat and sugar as possible. so ill carry on with that.
if someone came along and said yes, bread is very bad for you, then id give it up.

Bread is not bad for you mate
Dont eat any after 5pm though!! Carbs are excellent as a source of energy although if you drop them your body will tap into your fat stores for energy, thus the 0 carb diet is excellent if you want to show your abs as your body is tapping into the main areas of fat, ie abdominal area for energy and eats away at it! Trouble is with 0 carbs is your body will also tap into your muscles to get enery, not good as your hard gains will fade before your eyes!! The way round this..... Up the protien BIG time! When I cut up I drop the carbs and do 360-380g's of protien per day. This keeps my muscle mass but shreds the fat.
yeah ive been taught all about the way your body uses energy and stuff by a mate of mine doing a masters in health and fitness related stuff. very interesting stuff, and all well and good if youre in a position to eat and train properly, but at the mo, doing 14 hours + commuting each day for work, i cant
and i find if i cut out carbs im shattered all the time, which when im doing 300+miles a night, isnt preferable. i stuff myself with bread and pasta all day/night, which although bad for the weight loss, keeps me from crashing
i didnt think bread was especially bad for the body, but after hearing all this on the radio i was intreaged whether there was some bizare property to it/its ingredients that prevented you from losing weight or something!
btw whats the shelf life of them tbols i bought off you mate? ive still not done them as ive not been able to get a proper training regime going due to the shitty hours ive been working.

It can be done mate
When the weather gets better I work longer hours due to me being a scaffholder. I can drop the carbs whilst doing a 9hr day then onto doing a 6hr shift on the door. If you keep your water intake high and protien high you will be fine. You will feel shit for 5-7 days as your body is adjusting from having carbs to none at all, its like stopping smoking, you feel rough for a week or so. If you feel tired then eat a bit of chicken, anything with protien in but no carbs.
As for bread being bad, its fine, honestly!
The average life for Dianabol tabs is around 20 months. I sent you the natural Thermabol which can be bought in Holland & Barrett's, should have a sell by date stamped on them somewhere?
will give it a go then, ive got ephedrines here i can take if im really struggling.
last night i had 4 bagels for breakfast about 4pm, a large baguette about 11, then two lots of ham sarnies on thick brown at about 3, then just had three weetabix
talk about carb overload
and yeah i shouldve thought to look on the packaging really before asking a daft question!

as long as your working and active all night i dont see the problem with bread / carbs. Just get some protien down you at same time, so big baguette filled with tuna etc
I only put wheight on when im unactive and eat it!

contrary to popular belief, bread does NOT make you gain weight. It has carbs in it, white bread is not as good as wholemeal, but bread on the whole is not a bad food.
Any food eaten in excess will not help with your weight, but there is plenty of truth in " everything in moderation "
I cant eat bread as im intolerant to yeast, and it has slightly speeded up my weight loss, although i suspect thats because ive replaced it with salads which are lower in calories anyway.
6-8 slices is a lot a day though, thats 6-800cals alone in bread. Maybe try having 2-3 and then a jacket potato or pasta instead, still giving you the carbs you want but in a more filling form of food
