Default Does anything from maximuscle work?

Hi everyone hope peoples training is going well!

I just wondering if any of maximuscles products help with your training?, i got one of the brochure things in this months mens health and i was looking for a second opinion really.

Im not looking for an all singing all wonder pill where the fat just falls off

But my eating habits are much better instead of gorging throughout the day i spread out what im eating, my workout plans are good as its nice and veried(sp).

Im just looking for that extra kick just to start losing the excess now.

If anyone could recommend anything that would be great

Cheers

Matt

Here, here but it also teaches you discipline which is an invaluable lesson. It's very empowering having control over your body.

If you're just trying to lose fat you don't need to waste your money on any supplements, just lots of cardio and dieting.

Maximusle Promax however is a good protein powder, mixes easy without a blender, but it seems to have gone up in price recently. I used to buy it at Asda pharmacy, for around Ł27. But recently the Maximuscle label got a re-design, and the price went up to about Ł40 even at Asda!

didn't get on with Progain or Progain-extreme, just corrected my diet a little and things worked out better. i admit in the gym it gave me a little extra energy but for bulking it does nothing for me. but everyone is different i guess

For me alot of the products are over priced and in some instances over hyped. For example the lads I work with have been bought through teams with this hype around cyclone being the best. However it is gloryfied creatine and protein in one and it is much cheaper to buy it seperate. But more importantly, cyclone does not contain enough creatine for the inital loading phase which is essential when taking cyclone (5-7 days of loading requires 20 g a day, cyclone contains abotu 4 g?if you took that amount via cyclone it would cost you a small fortune). Most, if not all research on creatine that reports ergogenic effects uses 5-7 days loading of 20g per day, 4 weeks of 3-4g per day and then one week off.

i have started using some stuff fro the US called 'core strength' all the usual cocktails, power and pills that maximuscle advertise... bought expecting the same results as the maxi stuff i used for months.. but too much delight this stuff seem's to work rather well. and because my day is very hectic i dont always get to eat the 'right stuff' this keeps my diet in-line! i'd recommend and give anyone more details if they would like to know more.. be warned not cheap.. but no worse than max
