In short mate don't bother. It will look sweet but drive like a pig and the tyres will catch like mad. If you absolutely have to have them fitted exepect to need the arches rolling and a minimal lowering job using as rounded profile tyre as you can in a 205/45/16.
Best off with some Mondeo 16" rims which look very similar and won't fuck up the cars driveability.
This is my bro's FRST on Mondeo rims at FITP this year.

Hi thanks for all the info lads. I came to a conclusion that ill have to give them a miss has i didnt want to compromise on the driving condition but then fordunit thinks it can happen without any problems.
If i do go ahead cant i put on 195/40/16 or 195/45/16 all the way will that make things easier?
Also fordunit why do you recommend that i go for 205/40s or 215/40 for rear and 205/40 or 195/40 on front?
Is it to make it look good or something or that it'll help to make the fitting easier because i thought the smaller the tyre the easier it'll be, like 195/45/16?
Also i think the car is dropped by 40mm at the moment so if i was to the cossie rims on 195/45/16 tyres do u think it should be ok or is the car too low now or ill have to modify the arches??
cheers

Fordunit it is nothing to do with scare tactics
The offset is miles out for the car. The Escos rims are 25mm offset which pushes the rims out into the arches too far. It is this that causes the problem not the size.

dont believe any of that crap
i have cossie rims on my fiesta and drives brilliant and really holds the road
i turned my rear shock 180 degrees
10mm spacers on the rear
5mm spacers on the front
215/45/16 tyres all round and lowered 25mm
i didnt need to touch my arches!

Rite lads am still deciding what to do lol!!!!!!
Erm fil fez yeh looks good with the cossie wheels but few questions
1.) what do u mean "i turned my rear shock 180 degrees? what exactly did u there and why?
2.) why did u use spacers i thought spacers make ur rims/tyres stick out more???
3.) Also how come you only dropped it by 25mm or did you want it that low?
What it is that i want the cossie 16's on it and then really go low as much as i can but that must depend on the tyre setup yeh or no? You used 215/45/16 tyres and as you can see that there is a big chunk of tyre left after the rim so that means you cant lower it anymore or it'll just touch/scrub yeh? Even if you did go for a lower profile tyres like 205/40/16, 195/40/16 etc and there wasn't much chunk of tyre left could you still go low or it wont just happen? Maybe the there rims are wide to and thats gotta be taking into consideration?
What my mates and i are thinking is get 195/40/16 and bang them on then take the the other things into consideration like the dropping fitting etc. So will that tyre setup work or there not wide enough to fit on the rim.
Lol we think they'll fit, they'll just need streching a bit?????
?
Any ideas please lads

ok if u turn your shocks 180 degrees at the rear the cup doesnt stick out as much
i only had -25mm springs at the time but im away to try a 60mm drop tonite but will probably need to roll my arches
u wont get 195 tyres on, u can only strech tyres 20mm -/+ either way so 205 is the least u can go
spacers do make your wheels stick out more but thats to get the wheel away from the shock
other alternative and a popular choice is coilovers
hope that helps mate

Or you could just fit the Mondeo 16" rims that look very similar and won't give you the ballache fitting and retain the cars driveability.
I know so many people that have fitted Cossie rims only to return to other rims because it ruined the car. Your cash though and your call.
