Ordered a PC from then nearly 3 weeks ago and they finally delivered today after giving us 3 false days
Open it: Couriers have damaged the thing, putting a massive dent in the case, bending the chassis which meant the back panel with all the sockets on etc buckled shearing off the HDMI PCI card detatching it from the computer
The only way it could have been caused from what I can tell is that it was hit by the fork of a forklift truck. So now DEsktop Option are sending thr courier to pick it up so they now have to build me a complete new system. Of course the courier incident isnt their fault but it means I will have to wait an age for another computer
Rant over. Sorry

Apparently the replacement computer was to be delivered thursday. Yet, I am still without one
We rang yesterday and they were meant to be ringing back that evening and never did. I'm starting to get to the end of my tether now with them. I cant even cancel it, as they will charge a 15% returns fee for rejecting it, and thats at lest 100 quid

I'm not getting a refund as they still keep 15% for themselves and thats alot of money, and since its not me buying it (my folks) they dont want to lose over 100 quid since they do deliver eventually just not when they say they will
so how about the distance selling laws ..
must be something in there you can get off on...

so i suggest you advise them that they need to read the distance selling regulations and give you a full refund as they have broken the rules etc ..
trading standards are a good bet for advice..

Also i really want it (no other company can build the spec for the money)and once it comes (as they do deliver eventually) i will never deal with them again. End of
