After seeing how big and heavy the standard heater system / box was I opted for this kit car all in 1, it kicks out about 4.5 kw which is more than the standard car and is only 1.6 kilos and about 1/4 of the size which frees up a lot of space above the front of the tunnel. This will still take the cold air feed from the standard car inlet. I will have just the front panel poking out so will be neat and I can angle it to demise the front screen or I can add a pipe to the bulkhead of it.

Virtually zero dash, I like the bars down to the tunnel and would have a small kit car heater box in there.

My car is / was fully trimmed but if I am going big cage I wonder if I might do something more like this?

If you cut an L shape like this pic, drill the straight end last to the size of the abs sensor bolt and then fold at dotted line after drilling hole for the sensor and then hammer it to the contour of the hub.

I have posted this pic of the MK big bore roller barrel inlet elsewhere but this is what I plan to add to my car, it is billet and the idea is to get much better throttle response and control.

Drive shafts out. Anyone know the best place to buy new drive shaft bolts?

Mark Will remove the beam for smiley to collect and take out my drive shaft hubs to sleeve for the bigger bearings like the front ones.

The solid mounts are loose here as I had to drop the beam a bit to get to the top bolts on the diff. Top Tip as Ed China would say ...fit the supra diff
Before lifting up the beam.

Dropped my diff out today so thought I would take a few pics to show the supra diff mod. You can still run the standard diff too. The black smudge is cv grease that has flung off as I put a bit much in.

Engine out on trolley I made. I disconnected everything, lowered ramps to the floor to make contact with trolley, undid the subframe crossmember and raised the ramps to leave engine on floor. Time for big tidy up now.

Diff is out.

I had to strap the body to the ramps as now engine and box is out the weight of the rear beam and diff makes the front lift on a see saw.

I will drop the diff out tomorrow, pull out the interior and then it is ready for Mark to pick up.

Removed the reflector gold as it was wrinkled, will either not run it after bay painted or will get a pro to fit it.

IF the manual rack non assisted works ok then I will remove the electric pump to leave space for breather setup. Only just got all this working but I need it dry fitted in case I done like the non pas so the painted bay won’t be ruined.
