The GSXR was bought new in 2012 by a 70yr old bloke, it had done 2000 miles and is as it left the factory, I really love this bike and the red line is around 14,000 rpm.

Tzr 250 engined mito, I went one pipe each side on custom tuned expansions. Most people double stack the pipes on one side.

Bullet output flanges arrived from Anembo. These were one of the things that went missing from my car. Last MOT they mentioned slight play in front bearings which was odd as all brand new. By chance I was talking to Stuart Day who also had a set of the same “WRC” uprights, same issue. He sent his off to some F engineer and it seems the hubs may have a very slight oval in the machining. He had inserts cut in which sorted it. May have to do that. Anyone else had the same issue?

Started to put the strength back in with 2 mm steel to link the floor to the sill.

So, the box sits under where I have marked in black for the width of the engine but the rail I have highlighted in yellow stays in place.

You can see where the cam position sensor and the breather will make contact.

The engine in these pics is too low, this is because I have the engine mounts the wrong way up. When I raise the engine it hits the scuttle panel / rain tray so I needed to make some room.

After the rust treatment cured I sanded it lightly to give a key and take off the high spots.

I made up the L plate and welded that to the cage base, then welded that to the floor. I primed the insides first.

Maybe captive nut or threaded bottom on the cross member and top pinches it?

The mount also has bolt holes to bolt it to the chassis, I can plug weld through those too.

Tacked the drivers side in place. I will now measure EVERYTHING so I have multiple datum’s and will probably get a big set square and laser then mark across to fit the other side with the exact same compression strut length.
