Default boost problem

Basically had the car set up by stu a few months ago and was ok bar leaning out(fucked regulator) holding 1.5 bar and boosting nicely.

While there we found out that some of the turbo bolts had come loose and 1 cross threaded when tightened up so few weeks later took turbo off and replaced all the bolts (had 2 take housings apart 2 clean the thead in housing but aint rocket science )

Put it all back together and ever since then it hasnt felt right By rights when put back together boost setting should have been exactly the same as never touched the actuator, but it was peaking a over 2bar straight away, all pipes etc seemed ok and tight!!!
So wound actuator out a bit and got it to peak at 1.5bar again but, as soon as it hits 1.5bar its backing off to 1bar then slowly climbing again which i swear it wasnt b4 plus every so often its spiking over 1.5bar. Plus when in low boost it should hit about 1bar but its not even making that

Any ideas?! Boost hoses seem ok, actuator pipes ive replaced 2 be safe, just tonight replaced the actuator with a spare one which is supposed 2 be a -34 so will see how that works tomoz, other than leaves the amal valve which cant see it being as hi low boost works fine so deff is workin?!

Any suggestions?!

Cant complain thou least it runs

only a few things i can think of, amal valve could be playing up

or the pipes to the amal valve, from the turbo to amalvalve and actuator to amalvalve are the wrong way round

Nah pipes are ok mate their new ones, and in the right place, does the same as before with the other actuator so isnt that. tbh once it hits full boost it pulls ok, just doesnt seem the same to me now as it was before, and its still peaking then backing off

Will take off the amal valve and run a bleed valve just 2 see if it peaks and holds ok and take it from there

Well tried the bleed valve does EXACTLY the same thing so stuck what it could be now

Is there anything that could have been done 2 cause it from taking turbo off, replacing housing bolts then putting it back on?!?! As i say had 2 take housing apart 2 clean a thread in the housing with a tap.....

Strange that it'll peak at 1.5, back off 2 about 1bar then slowly creep up again?!?! Almost points 2 actuator but tried 2 which were fine before, unless their both toast Only thing it did do was overboost badly a couple times with the actuator pipe split but shouldnt have damaged anything?!?!

Boost hoses seem ok 2.................. may take it off again and have a look cos its proper pissin me off now

when you dismantled the housings, did you mark them up beforehand, maybe the actuator rod is fouling on the turbo housing or something??
