car wont start no fuel out of injectors!!!!!!!!!!!!!
as above just had full engine rebuild cvh rs turbo on std injection went to start car and just turns over and wont start cracked off all 4 injector pipes no fuel coming out of them i bridged fuel relay to run constant and pushed down on metering unit flap and it then sprays petrol out of injectors but it just dont do it when u try start car..ive now changed metering unit to 1 i deff no works an still the same so its not metering unit what else can it be is it an air lock ???? as car was sitting with empty tank for ages and fuel pump was primed with no fuel in tank when i re fitted loom so might be this but have tried to bleed it but not sure if done right..
any other ideas as i thought i had sorted this but looks like i aint
cheers

Could be an air lock. How did you go about bleeding the system?
Also is the pressure correct? I had a VERY similar problem but it was all down to fuel pressure. there just wasnt enough of it. Also have to checked basic things like the fuel filter?
Couple of ideas anyway

im not 100% sure but the metering unit is a pretty delicate piece of equipment so surely pushing down on it loads will fook it
It could be the fuel pump not producing enough pressure. Isnt there a regulator on rs turbos? When i had a problem it was actually one of the lines(the one going from the metering unit to the fuel filter. It wasnt holding the pressure properly. so replaced it and all was well. if you can try and plug in a pressure gauge at different points and see whats happening where

Common one is the pipe from turbo to metering unit has been put on wrong, thats deffo my no1 airleak for a total non runner.
Dump valves? take it off totally till shes a runner.
Golden rule.
If the engine can draw air from ANYWHERE other than the metering flap, it will not suck the flap down and thuis the head will not inject fuel. This includes cam covers and dipsticks, so search carefully.
Fuel adjustment is done of the 3mm allen key adjustment next to teh flap but anymore than 1/4 turn will NEVER be necessary. Adjust with EXTREME caution or you may never hear her run again, i kid you not.. lol
