Bought an L8 ECU that arrived today, opened it up for a quick check and found a jumper wire soldered to the board. Has standard weber baby board in it still. Anyone know what the jumper could be for?

Looks like a repair of pin 10 connection. Check other side to see if the track is damaged.
Could be the result of starting the engine without a proper ground connection.

 

Thanks for the info, yes it looks like the track for pin 10 has been damaged in the past and the wire is the fix.
