Default 02 Engine Immobiliser issue

My 2002 Fiesta LX has been off the road for a while. I tried to start it (after recharging the battery) and something clicks a few times near the glove box and the immobiliser flashes very rapidly and you get an EAC failure alarm in the clock LCD. Is there anyway to override this?
Any help gratefully received... Many thanks

Afraid it sounds like bad news that i recently had a fiesta in for the same thing turned out to be a ecu fault sent it away to bcc and it cost Ł350. To fix had to send ecu key and cluster came back 100%

Are you sure the battery is good?

I have tried to jump start as Ford said the same thing but no joy! I guess I'll have to get it towed in and fixed! Thanks for the suggestions

Yes but jump starting will not help a faulty battery, get it tested!

Sorry Martin, used jump leads from my car and had 14.5v on it, that's what I meant! Still got the same clicking noise which stops after about 8 clicks and then nothing but the flashing immobiliser. Starting to think it may need some professional help. But thanks for your suggestions!
