My 2002 Fiesta LX has been off the road for a while. I tried to start it (after recharging the battery) and something clicks a few times near the glove box and the immobiliser flashes very rapidly and you get an EAC failure alarm in the clock LCD. Is there anyway to override this?

Afraid it sounds like bad news that i recently had a fiesta in for the same thing turned out to be a ecu fault sent it away to bcc and it cost £350. To fix had to send ecu key and cluster came back 100%
